On 27 December 2021 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office on 16 December 2021, charging Ranko Draškić and Savo Manojlović with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)h), as read with Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs a), d) and e), and in conjunction with Article 180(1) and Article 29 CC BiH.
According to the Indictment, from the second half of May to late June 1992, as members of the Intervention Platoon of the Territorial Defense of the Serb Municipality of Ilijaš, subsequently the 1st Ilijaš Light Assault Brigade of the Army of the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of inflicting great suffering and violation of bodily integrity of civilian persons, Ranko Draškić and Savo Manojlović carried out persecution on national, ethnic and religious grounds, by way of killing and serious deprivation of physical liberty of the non-Serb population in Ilijaš municipality.
