On 28 February 2023 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered and pronounced a Trial Judgment finding the accused Jasmina Bureković guilty of the continued criminal offense of Fraud in Office under Article 222(3), as read with Paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CCBiH), all in conjunction with Article 54 CC BiH. The Court sentenced the accused to three (3) years of imprisonment.

The accused Jasmina Bureković has been found guilty that, as an official person at the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, between January 2010 and late 2019, with the aim of obtaining ill-gotten gain, she submitted false accounts, or payment orders, thus misleading authorized official persons into making illegal payments, resulting in the ill-gotten gain amounting to 34,440.00 EUR, with its BAM countervalue being 67,358.79 KM, which is the amount the BiH Communications Regulatory Agency, and thus also the BiH budget, have been deprived of. The Judgment ordered that the ill-gotten gain be confiscated from the accused.

An appeal from the Judgment may be filed with the Appellate Division Panel of the Court of BiH within 15 (fifteen) days of the day when a written copy of the Judgment was received.
