Indictment confirmed in Zoran Nešković et al.

On 1 June 2022 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office on 13 May 2022, charging the accused Zoran Nešković, Panto Pantović, Slaviša Đerić, Nenad Ujić and Pero Despet with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 142(1) CC SFRY, as read with Article 22 of the Code, and the accused Zoran Nešković also as read with Article 30(2) of the Code.

According to the Indictment, from late July 1995 to 22 December 1995, in Rogatica, during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina between the Army of Republika Srpska and the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as members of the Military Police VP 7084 Rogatica, the accused, specifically Zoran Nešković as commander of the detention facility located in the barracks of former Rasadnik farmstead, and Panto Pantović, Slaviša Đerić, Nenad Ujić and Pero Despet as guards at the detention facility, treated the non-Serb civilians from the municipalities of Žepa, Rogatica and Srebrenica, who were held unlawfully in the barracks of former Rasadnik farmstead in Rogatica, in violation of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War of 12 August 1949 and Additional Protocols I and II.
