Press Release, case of Milorad Dodik et al.

09.07.2025, 13:21

On 9 July 2025, suspects Nenad Stevandić and Radovan Višković arrived at the BiH Prosecutor's Office of their own free will, accompanied by their defense counsel, to be questioned in their capacity as suspects concerning an investigation into the existence of grounded suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of Attack on Constitutional Order under Article 156(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH).

On the same day, at the Motion filed by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, the suspects were taken to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where a hearing was held, at which the Court issued a Decision granting the Motion, and terminated the custody of the suspects Nenad Stevandić and Radovan Višković, having found that the reasons for which they had been remanded in custody no longer existed, while imposing on them the restrictive measure of mandatory periodical reporting to a state authority.

According to the Decision, the imposed restrictive measure may last for as long as necessary, or until the Court issues a different decision.

Justifiability of the imposed restrictive measure shall be checked on a bimonthly basis. The suspects have been particularly warned that they may be remanded in custody if found in violation of the obligations ensuing from the imposed restrictive measure.
