Pre-trial custody of suspect Mladen Milovanović terminated, prohibitive measures imposed

On 26 November 2021 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a decision in the Bojan Cvijetić et al. case granting the Motion filed by the BiH Prosecutor's Office on 24 November 2021, and terminated pre-trial custody of the suspect Mladen Milovanović, which was ordered by Decision of the Court of BiH, dated 18 November 2021. At the same time, the following prohibitive measures are ordered against the suspect:

travel ban under Article 126(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CPC BiH) – for the purpose of executing this measure, the suspect is prohibited from traveling outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina, his valid travel document shall be seized and no new ones shall be issued, and he is also prohibited from crossing the state border using his ID card; ban on visiting certain places or areas under Article 126.a(1)b) CPC BiH - for the purpose of executing this measure, the suspect is prohibited from visiting the building or premises of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior and the State Investigation and Protection Agency; ban on meeting with certain individuals under Article 126.a(1)c) CPC BiH, in the manner that the suspect is prohibited from any form of contact and meeting with other suspects and witnesses in this criminal case.

 

The imposed prohibitive measures may last for as long as necessary, while their justifiability shall be checked on a bi-monthly basis. The suspect has been warned that he may be remanded in custody if he violates the obligations set forth within the imposed prohibitive measures.

 

Mladen Milovanović is suspected of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250, Paragraphs 2 and 3, of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) CC BiH.
