Commencement of the main trial in the case of Radmilo Vuković, who is charged with War crimes against civilians, has been scheduled for 10 January 2007, starting at 10.00am in courtroom 3.

The indictment alleges that in June 1992 in the Municipality of Foča, as a member of the military forces of the so-called Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Accused acted contrary to the rules of International Humanitarian Law and committed breaches of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War.  The Accused allegedly physically abused a female person, threatening her life, and took advantage of her unconsciousness to rape her several times.
