On 12 June 2007, officers of the Ministries of Interior of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Tuzla Canton arrested Budimir Nikolić, Selim Bešlagić, and Enver Delibegović on the basis of an international arrest warrant initiated by the Interpol Office in Serbia. These individuals are suspected of using prohibited means of warfare in violation of Article 148 (2) of the Criminal Code of the Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia.

The apprehended individuals were handed over the Court of BiH, with a request for their extradition to the Republic of Serbia.  Having concluded that these persons are citizens of BiH, the Court decided to release them. 

The Court will inform the Ministry of Justice of BiH, Ministry of Security of BIH – Interpol Office in Sarajevo of these developments, so that the information can formally be conveyed to the judicial institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
