Trial Judgment Pronouncement in the Milomir Davidović Case

The pronouncement of trial judgment in the Milomir Davidović case has been scheduled for Wednesday, 27 February 2019, at 9 a.m., Courtroom 9 of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

 

The indictment charges the accused Milomir Davidović with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)g), as read with Article 180(1) of the CC BiH.

 

The indictment, inter alia, alleges that between 3 July 1992 and 18 July 1992, during a widespread and systematic attack launched by military, paramilitary and police forces of the so-called Serb Republic of BiH, subsequently Republika Srpska, against the Bosnian civilian population of the Foča municipality, as a VRS member, knowing of the attack and that his actions constitute its part, Milomir Davidović acted in contravention of the rules of international humanitarian law. The indictment alleges that the accused Milomir Davidović, in violation of common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, together with other persons, forced three women to sexual intercourse.
