The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued, on 7 February 2024, a decision in the case of Almir Serdarević et al. (S1 2 K 031329 18 Krn) rendering ineffective the Court’s Decision of 10 October 2022 and ordering the suspect Almir Serdarević into custody after his arrest pursuant to an international warrant. Pursuant to the new decision, custody can last no longer than one month, that is, until 6 March 2024, or a new Court’s decision, due to the existing particular custody grounds set forth in Article 132(1) a) of the CPC BiH, or due to a risk of flight.

The suspect Almir Serdarević has been charged with the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(3) of the CC BiH, in connection with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) of the CC BiH.
