Concerning the current situation, the Acting President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Judge Minka Kreho, having held consultations with her colleagues, issues a press release as follows:

Bearing in mind the extraordinary and rather uncommon situation in which we have found ourselves, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina voices its absolute commitment to exercising the rule of law, proper and lawful conduct of proceedings, and protection of all participants in proceedings before this Court, regardless of their status and personality.

In accordance with the powers and duties under the law, I will make sure that the continuity of operations of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is preserved, so that all processes and activities continue as usual.

Finally, I kindly appeal to all media for objective information and understanding, since all information that becomes available, given the specific early stages of the current proceedings of public interest, will be timely distributed, in accordance with the law and the hitherto practice.
