Trial Judgment to be pronounced in Dušan Milunić et al.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will Friday, 22 December 2023, at 1 p.m., in Courtroom 6, pronounce a Trial Judgment in the case of Dušan Milunić et al.

The confirmed Indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office charges the accused Dušan Milunić, Radovan Četić, Zoran Stojnić, Željko Grbić, Ilija Zorić, Zoran Milunić, Boško Grujičić, Ljubiša Četić, Rade Grujčić, Uroš Grujčić and Rajko Gnjatović with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)h), as read with Subparagraphs a), d), e), f), g) and k) and Article 180 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to the Indictment, between 23 and 28 July 1992, in the framework of a widespread and systematic attack launched by the army and police of the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, directed against the Bosniak population of the Zecovi village, Municipality of Prijedor, namely: Dušan Milunić in his capacity as Commander of the Rasavci Company which operated within the 6th Battalion, 43rd Brigade of the Army of Republika Srpska; Radomir Stojnić as Commander of the Reserve Police Station in Rasavci; Radovan Četić as president of the SDS and the Crisis Staff for the village of Rasavci, and the other accused as members of the company, knowingly and significantly participated in a joint criminal enterprise of the Prijedor municipality civilian and military authorities, with the intent to persecute Bosniaks and Croats, which aimed at the killing, forced transfer, torture, detention and other inhuman treatment, as a consequence of a joint criminal enterprise in the territory of Zecovi village, which is when at least 150 Bosniak civilians were killed, 30 of them in the camps set up in the Prijedor municipality, and others in other locations and under different circumstances.
