On 16 January 2008, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) confirmed the Indictment against Marko Škrobić, charging him with the criminal offense of War crimes against Civilians.

As alleged in the Indictment, on 31 July 1992, Škrobić as a member of the HVO, in the village of Novo Selo, Kotor Varoš Municipality, together with other four (4) armed persons, expelled one Serb family from their house. After separating the family and escorting them in the direction of the village of Ravne, the accused allegedly, fired a round into in the chest of a member of this family who died instantly.
