Pronouncement of the first-instance Verdict in the case v. Željko Ivanović before the Section I for War Crimes of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled to take place on 24 April 2012, at 12:00 in Courtroom 6.

 

On 4 June 2009, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment in the case v. Željko Ivanović, under which the Accused Ivanović is charged with the criminal offence of Genocide.

 

The Indictment alleges that in July 1995, the Accused Ivanović, as a member of the 2nd Šekovići Special Police Detachment, together with other members of the Detachment, with a view to entirely destroying a group of Bosniaks from the UN Safe Area of Srebrenica, killed at least 1,000 Bosniaks in the warehouse of the Kravica Farming Cooperative, Bratunac Municipality.
