Indictment confirmed in the case v. Mijo Golub

On 3 January 2014, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Inidctment of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina under which the Accused Mijo Golub is charged with the criminal offense of Abuse of Office or Official Authority in violation of Article 220(3) as read with Paragraph (1) and the criminal offense of Disclosure of Secret Data in violation of Article 164(2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC of BiH), all in conjunction woth Article 53 and Article 54 of the CC of BIH.

 

The Indictment alleges, among other things, that the Accused Mijo Golub, as an official person of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of BIH, used his office or authoirty and overstepped his official authority  in as much as he forwarded the collected secret data in the case referred to under the code name Panama Biznis without authorization and made them available to an unauthorized person  so that the unathorized person avoids the criminal prosecution in the case  in which he was suspected of obtaining an ill-gotten gain in the value of over KM  50,000.00.
