On 22 December 2014 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment charging the accused Adil Vojić and Bekir Mešić with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 173(1)e) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as read with Article 29 of the same code.
The Indictment alleges that the accused Adil Vojić and Bekir Mešić, during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the armed conflict between the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Army of Republika Srpska, in a broader territory of the Bihać region, as members of the IDV of the 501st Brigade of the V Corps of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by the use of force and threat against life and limb, forced another person to sexual intercourse – rape.
