The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed on 10 November 2016 the Indictment under which the Accused Jovan Tintor is charged with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity in violation of Article 172(1) h) as read with a), d), e), f), i), k) all in conjunction with Article 180(1) of the CC of BIH.
The Indictment alleges that the Accused Jovan Tintor, within a widespread and systematic attack directed against civilian population of the city of Sarajevo and the municipality of Vogošća, knowing of the attack and aware that his acts make part of the attack with a discriminatory intent, as a participant in the joint criminal enterprise of several persons, aimed at persecuting Muslim and Croat population on ethnic and religious grounds committed the persecution by way of imprisonment and other severe deprivation of liberty, killings, enforced disappearance and other similar inhumane acts.
