Appeals Judgment in Aleksandar Tucikešić case

In the case of Aleksandar Tucikešić (S1 2 K 029157 22 Kžk 2), after the BiH Constitutional Court issued Decision No. AP 1788/22 of 14 November 2022 upon the appellation filed by the accused Aleksandar Tucikešić, which rescinded the Judgment of the Court of BiH of 15 April 2022 and remanded the case for reconsideration, and then after a trial was completed before the Appellate Division Panel of the Court, on 18 November 2022 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered and pronounced an Appeals Judgment acquitting the accused Aleksandar Tucikešić of the charges concerning the criminal offenses he was charged with by the confirmed Indictment of 19 November 2019.

The Appeals Judgment of the Court of BiH of 15 April 2022 had found the accused guilty of the criminal offense of Associating for the Purpose of Committing Criminal Offenses under Article 249(2) CC BiH and the criminal offense of Accepting Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit under Article 217(1) of the Criminal Code of BiH, all in conjunction with Articles 29 and 53 of the Code. The mentioned judgment had sentenced the accused to 1 (one) year and 6 (six) months of imprisonment, and fined him with 7,000.00 BAM.
