A hearing before the Appellate Panel scheduled in the Tasim Kučević and Others case

A hearing before the Appellate Panel Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the Tasim Kučević and Others case, has been scheduled for Thursday, 07 February 2008, starting at 2:00 p.m., in Courtroom 6.

The Trial Panel of the Court of BiH rendered the first-instance verdict on 21 September 2007, finding the Accused guilty of the criminal offense of Organized Crime in conjunction with the criminal offense of Pandering. Tasim Kučević and Meliha Pjević were further convicted of the criminal offense of Organized Crime in conjunction with the criminal offense of Tax Evasion. Tasim Kučević and Meliha Pjević were sentenced to ten (10) and seven (7) years of imprisonment respectively. Enver Spahić, Zoran Trbara and Admir Fazlić were sentenced to three (3) years and six (6) months of imprisonment. The Trial Panel imposed suspended sentences on Mirzet Đulović, Nedžad Đulović, Almir Šabić, Mirsad Mujkić and Edževit Gusinac.
